Well, The Pools has now finished and we have our top 3. Joey McLaughlin finished top of the pack with 27 correct. Megan Strain came 2nd with 26 points. Brian Kelly just beat John Quinn to 3rd place, thanks to a higher number of correct draws guessed! Christopher Dullaghan came bottom, just beating Liam Hegarty… [...]

Well, We’ve reached the final stages of the competition….only 4 fixtures remain and it remains tense at the top. Megan is still sitting pretty in pole position, with Joey now two points behind! Megan has got 9/11 in the last run of matches…let down only by Cameroon and Denmark yesterday…(interestingly, only 9 people out of [...]

Well the top two haven’t changed but it’s getting nervy for 3rd – Our chairman, John, has leap-frogged nearly everyone in the competition (well, 8 people or so!) and is sitting in 3rd place, having got 4/4 yesterday.  We can only hope he messes up the next few matches because we’d never hear the end of it!!!! The next branch meeting of the LFC Donegal supporters club will take place in the Cavern Bar (Upstairs) Letterkenny at 7pm. The Premier League Fixtures for 2010/11 will be released today and Branch Trips and Matches can be applied for at the meeting.

Our long-serving committee member, Mr. David McIlwaine, celebrated a very special birthday on Saturday night in the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny.
