LFC Donegal – Fantasy League Update
After the Christmas break its time to re-visit the LFC Donegal fantasy football league. With the vast majority of fixtures being postponed on the weekend of January the 9th, points were at a minimum, however last weekend’s fixtures more than made up for that with the majority of participants getting into the 100’s. Even Neil Gallagher’s Ardara Utd got 58 points, a record total for the bottom team.
Strange Brew and Jossy’s Giants under the stewardship of Brendan Lynch and Paul Hegerty respectively lead the way with a whooping 1344 points and 1319 points. However all it needs is a captain to hit a hat-trick and everything can change so there’s still time for a challenge from the chasing pack.
As mentioned earlier Neil Gallagher’s Ardara Utd prop up the table and as it’s his third month in a row in bottom place, he wins the prize of a trip to Highland Radio where he will be greeted by world renowned journalist and winner of a Crackerjack pen in 1971, Mr. Charlie Collins. Well done Neil.
