Donegal Branch – 15 years old today!
Today marks the 15th anniversary of our branch. It was in the Downtown Lounge, Main Street, Letterkenny on Monday, 20th September, 1993 that our first meeting was held. There were over 80 Liverpool supporters present and a committee of Victor Fisher (Chairperson), Dean Doherty (Treasurer) and Kevin Neely (Secretary) were elected.
Within a month, the branch had secured affiliation to Liverpool FC and had their first branch trip in April 1994 (a 2-0 defeat at home to Newcastle United).
